N-500-D, N-500-E, N-500-G Which one?

Hi-
Which of these crossovers are preferable? Putting together a mono system with 416A/802D/511B in 825 cabinet.

Honestly, most people don't run 511s down to 500Hz anymore. An exception might be the 511E with a 288 driver.

None really, you want the 500C.

Can you use the N-500-C with the 8ohm versions of my drivers?

The loading at 500Hz isn't real great, which matters a lot for the small format drivers. Also, a lot of people think the horn just sounds best over about 800Hz.

416A and 802D are 16 ohm originally as is all these old networks, so if yours are now 8 ohm, then no, none of them will work well without a 15067 auto-transformer.

So the 500-C is not 12ohms?
